Artist Supplies

Artist supplies include a variety of instructional and training items. Videos and books are a few great examples. It is also possible to purchase starter sets which serve as excellent introductions to different mediums.

Of course, the most common artist supplies are those that are necessary to performing specific techniques- In other words, the basics. These include paints and paint brushes for painting. They also include the various drawing supplies necessary for drawing techniques. There are many other areas of art, from sculpture to printmaking to photography, which all require their own set of materials.

Artist supplies also exist to serve purposes after a piece is created. These may exist for the storage of work. They also may exist for presentation. Frames and pedestals are good examples of display items. Portfolios may exist for both storage and display.
