Volunteer
Opportunities
|
| From
the beginning, volunteers have given of their time and talents
to the Corvallis Arts Center;volunteers are our heart. You can
serve as a volunteer in a wide variety of ways: |
|
|
| As
A General Volunteer: |
| Our
volunteers assist us with a diverse range of needs and projects.
Some volunteers can only donate their time occasionally and
assist with bulk mailings, receptions, Artspirit deliveries,
or specific one-time projects. Other volunteers staff our reception
desk in The Arts Center ArtShop once a week, answering the telephone,
greeting visitors, assisting visitors with purchases, etc. We
appreciate our volunteers and depend on them! If you would like
to find out more about volunteer opportunities, please contact
Joni King, our Volunteer
Coordinator. |

| As
An Intern: |
|
The
Arts Center has internship opportunities for Oregon State
University and Linn-Benton Community College students as well
as committed senior high school student interns. Our commitment
to interns is to provide a diverse range of educational opportunities
and training in a nonprofit arts setting. Our staff works
closely with interns and cares about their personal and professional
development.
In turn, most of our internships
are project-based and require at least a one quarter internship.
Many of our internships require a two to three quarter commitment.
We need and expect interns to be responsible, committed to
their internship, capable of both working independently and
in a teamwork format, and have excellent follow through.
If you would like more information
or have ideas for an internship, please contact Sara
Swanberg, Executive Director.
